Lush Mush is a range of vegan, gluten, dairy and soy free, vegetable & lentil sauces and pesto. The range is hand made in a 5* registered kitchen. There is no added sugar.

The sauces are a source of protein and one pot of 300g of the sauces provides you with 4 of your 5 a day recommended intake of fruit and vegetables.


Lush Mush is a versatile, convenient, clean food, packed full of wholesome ingredients, vitamins and protein that saves you time in the kitchen. It replaces your need to buy artificial, factory made sauces which contain preservatives, high salt and sugar content.

Lush Mush comes in original RED, SPICED and a seaweed PESTO.


The sauces can be stored ambient up to 20 degrees centigrade. They can also be frozen. The RED sauce has a 3 month shelf life from the date of production and the SPICED sauce has a 6 month shelf life. The PESTO is fresh and needs to be consumed within 3-5 days of production.

how to use lush mush

Lush Mush sauces can be used as a base for vegetable and pasta dishes and also curries. They can liven up roast vegetables, meat and fish dishes too.

RED makes a tasty pizza base sauce or bruschetta topping and transforms a stock into a tasty soup.

SPICED can be added to veg, pulses, beans and meat/fish.

PESTO can be tossed into a salad, added to roasted veg or stirred into linguine pasta.

They can all be enjoyed  cold as a dip.

Why I created lush mush

Lush Mush came about with the RED sauce. It was my saviour when I needed something quick and easy but also healthy to feed my daughter when she was put on a strict vegan and gluten free diet for 3 months.


I still use this sauce today to feed my family. It definitely saves my time in the kitchen and allows me to make healthy, well balanced family meals in minutes with just a few ingredients.

SPICED Lush Mush contains:

Tomatoes, Carrots, Red lentils, Butternut Squash, Courgette, Peppers, Leeks, 

Dates, Rapeseed oil, Tomato puree, Beetroot, Sundried tomatoes,  Garlic, Ginger, Lemon Juice, Coriander, Cumin, Salt, Chilli, Cinnamon.

There are no allergens.


PESTO Lush Mush contains:

Olive oil, Peas, Green lentils, Spinach, Lemon Juice, Seaweed*, Pine nuts, Garlic, Salt. 

*May contain traces of fish, mollusc or crustacean.
